The Sony Ericsson W910i mobile phone will shake up the way you listen to your music. This Walkman phone doesn’t just have a conventional keypad - it has Shake control, which lets you skip backwards or forwards through playlists by a flick of your wrist. You can shuffle your playlist by shaking the handset to select a random track… and you can even use the built-in motion sensors to ’steer’ the W910i from left to right when playing games.

This slim slide-open handset also has Sony Ericsson’s new SensMe technology to create playlists that match your mood. A unique on-screen display helps you choose music based on tempo and style, not merely by looking at artists or albums. And transferring songs from PC to phone is now easier than ever, thanks to the Media Manager PC software that organises and copies your music, photos, video clips and podcasts.

There’s loads more entertainment inside the Sony Ericsson W910i, including a web browser, face-to-face video calls, mobile blogging, a 2 megapixel camera and an FM radio. Plus there’s high-speed 3G technology, quad-band international coverage, stereo Bluetooth compatibility and 40MB of expandable memory. This playful mobile phone definitely wants you to enjoy your multimedia - wherever you are.

Along with all this fun, the slide-open Nokia N81 is packed with productivity: there’s email and web browsing, with WiFi and 3G technology for a fast connection. More than a smart phone, more than a music player this is a multimedia computer.

The Samsung E900 Pink mobile phone is a colourful interpretation of this popular slide-up handset. On the front is a sleek touch-sensitive panel that lets you control the phone simply by tapping your finger. And when you’re ready to make calls, just slide out the smooth keypad.

With 80MB of built-in storage and a memory expansion slot, the pink E900 is a well-equipped music player. It’ll handle MP3, AAC and WMA files, giving you plenty of options for hearing your favourite tunes.

The phone’s flash-equipped camera will take two megapixel photos and can record video clips, with the ability to show them on a much larger screen thanks to the special TV output. Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth and USB, while a mobile internet browser makes good use of the phone’s high-quality colour screen. There’s even an email program and a document viewer if you need to do some work.

The phone’s confident design and bold colour give it a distinctive look that’ll appeal to a wide range of people. This fashionable handset manages to be stylish, sophisticated and straightforward at the same time - making the bright Samsung E900 Pink well worth a look if you’re after a music-playing camera phone.

The Nokia 6300 mobile phone has taken the traditional one-piece handset design and brought it straight into the 21st century. At first glance, you might not think that much has changed - but look again. This contemporary design is 13.1mm thin… yet the phone is still strong, thanks to a stainless steel frame. It’s light as well, tipping the scales at a mere 91g.

But the Nokia 6300 is a heavyweight when it comes to features. To start with, it’s equipped with a 2 megapixel camera that boasts an 8x digital zoom. Your images are then displayed on a high-quality colour screen; a large screen that’s also perfect for internet browsing (using the popular Opera Mini Browser) and for playing games.

Music is an important part of the Nokia 6300. This slim handset houses an MP3 player and a stereo radio, so you can listen to one of the UK’s FM stations or choose from your own tunes. And there’s 135MB of expandable memory supplied with the phone, which means you’ll have plenty of storage space.

In addition, the Nokia 6300 can help with day-to-day business. It has a voice recorder, a handsfree loudspeaker, Bluetooth connectivity, PC synchronisation and voice-activated controls. Practical and good-looking, the Nokia 6300 looks set to become a new classic.
